We've done many different writing prompts, but I personally loved this writing prompt because it was difficult to think about what I'd do on a rainy day. Even if its not my best writing, it was great writing about this topic. So....
On a rainy day....
I personally love rainy days as much as beautiful sunny days. I enjoy the rain very much because I love getting wet. I enjoy being outside because I feel free. It's where I can forget about all the problems in the world. With the grey skies with the nothing but clouds above. With the foggy air and the wet roads. It may sound horrendous to most people, but to me, it sounds as perfect as any other perfect day. And nothing could change that.
On this perfect rainy day, there are multiple things that I could do. First of all, I would roller blade around the neighbourhood with my friends in the rain. The splashes of water. The pouring rain. It feels amazing because you feel the fresh air and the cold air. It makes me feel like I'm in a different world. After, I would watch all of The Hunger Games movies all over again which are: The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay Part 1, and Mockingjay part 2 because I am obsessed with them and I could never get tired of the movies or the books. This would take at least 8 hours of my day. Finally, I would read Divergent. All of my friends say that the series is awesome. They say that it is as good as the Hunger Games or maybe even better. And if it's that good then I definitely have to read it. I really want to read the series before I watch the movies and I am excited for this perfect rainy day.
I think that any day can be perfect. From cold winter snow to hot summer days. It doesn't matter about the day to me, it's about what you do on that day. That's what makes your day perfect. A day isn't made perfect for you. You have to make it perfect. That's why to me, a rainy day can be perfect and that is what I'd do on the perfect rainy day.
